Renascence is a customer and employee experience consultancy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our client work, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Renascence is a customer experience consultancy headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of data protection law, Renascence is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
You can reach us about any privacy matter at hello@renascence.io.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, company, job title, and message when you contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, download a report, register for an event, apply for a role, or take one of our assessments.
Information we collect automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on them. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for special category data such as health, religion, or political opinions.
How we use your information
To respond to your enquiries and provide the services, research, and assessments you request.
To send you our newsletter and research updates where you have subscribed. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
To understand how our content performs so we can improve the site, and to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have a legal effect on you.
Legal bases for processing
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; on the performance of a contract when we deliver services to a client; and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our website and business.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
Sharing and international transfers
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate: website and database hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They may process data only on our instructions.
Some of these providers operate outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to three years after our last contact, newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and analytics data in aggregated form. Client engagement records are retained for as long as required by our contractual and legal obligations.
How we protect your data
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege permissions so that only the people who need your data can reach it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent for marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@renascence.io. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to understand usage. Our Cookie Policy explains what we set and how to control it through your browser.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
