contactSPACE, Zoom partner to bring enterprise outbound to Zoom Contact Center

Zoom CX compliant customers will soon have call campaign management through a cloud-native platform.

Curated briefing · 2 min read · 2 sources

What happened

Outbound campaign specialist contactSPACE has partnered with Zoom to integrate its call campaign management platform with Zoom Contact Center. The tie-up will let organisations running Zoom's CX suite manage outbound calling campaigns through a cloud-native layer, extending Zoom's contact centre offering beyond inbound and blended service into structured outbound engagement.

The integration is aimed at enterprises that already run Zoom Contact Center and need compliant, scalable tools for outbound activity such as sales, collections or proactive customer outreach, rather than having to bolt on a separate dialler or campaign system from outside the Zoom ecosystem.

Why it matters

Outbound calling is one of the more heavily regulated and reputationally sensitive channels in customer engagement — poorly managed campaigns drive complaints, regulatory exposure and customer fatigue, while well-designed ones can support genuinely useful proactive service. Embedding compliant campaign management natively within a contact centre platform reduces the friction and risk of stitching together disconnected tools, which matters for both agent experience and end-customer trust.

For service design teams, the move reflects a broader trend of platform consolidation: buyers increasingly want inbound, blended and outbound capabilities under one roof, with compliance controls built in rather than layered on. That shapes how contact centres design workflows, agent scripts and escalation paths, since a single platform view of a customer's inbound and outbound journey supports more coherent, less repetitive interactions.

The Renascence take

Partnership announcements like this often get filed under "vendor roadmap news," but the real story is behavioral: outbound contact is where trust is won or lost fastest, because customers didn't ask for the interaction.

Most operators treat outbound as a volume game — more dials, more compliance checkboxes, more scripts. The platform consolidation matters less for its technology than for what it enables: a single, coherent view of a customer across inbound and outbound touches, which is the only real defence against the fatigue and irritation outbound campaigns can cause. Contact centres that use this kind of integration merely to dial faster will gain little; those that use it to sequence outbound contact around genuine customer context — timing, prior interactions, stated preferences — will turn a historically low-trust channel into a differentiator.
