Client Services
Account Manager
Owns client relationships and commercial outcomes; sharp reasoning, data fluency and persuasive communication.
About the role
As an Account Manager you own the client relationship. You understand what each client is trying to achieve, translate it into clear briefs for the delivery team, keep work on scope and on time, and communicate with honesty and confidence. You are the trusted bridge between the client and the people doing the work.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of client relationships and be their trusted day-to-day point of contact.
- Understand each client's goals and translate them into clear briefs for the delivery team.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams, keeping work on scope, on time and on budget.
- Communicate proactively — status, risks, and good and bad news — with clarity and honesty.
- Handle questions, concerns and pushback with composure and a solution mindset.
- Spot opportunities to add value and grow the account, and support proposals and renewals.
- Track commercial details — scope, hours, invoicing milestones — and keep them accurate.
- Turn account data into simple, persuasive updates that build client confidence.
What you'll bring
- A strong client-service instinct and genuine relationship-building ability.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication.
- Commercial awareness and comfort with numbers, scope and simple data.
- Excellent organisation and follow-through across multiple accounts.
- Typically 2-4 years in account management, client services or a client-facing role.
